The Diary 4-21-10

Today, I woke up to my roommate telling me she was leaving for work. It was 6:30 a.m. I had failed to set my alarm as I have naturally woke up in past days with the sunlight coming through the basement window. I was tired.  Today was payday. I looked at my account balance to see my direct deposit for my first part-time job. It will be three weeks of working two jobs and going to school this Friday. I made a deposit of my entire check from my second job into my new forex account. I now have two forex accounts. In theory, it seems to work well in my mind. Build my forex account up, trade only confirmed signals and I’ll be able to quit my second job. … Read entire article »

Lock Your Spot

I couldn’t resist. I joined Dream Team Money Forum today. And within the network marketing area there was this post about a new company. “30 minutes and 44 people joined my downline.” After watching the video, which I had as much fluff at a landing page, I still bit. Lock Your Spot is suppose to be about a new network marketing company. People have until May 15th, to sign up. Can’t wait… … Read entire article »

The Diary – 4-15-2010

There is nothing easy about becoming financially independent. It’s hard work. I’m working two part-time jobs, and I’m also enrolled in school part-time. My days are 15 hour days. This week is my second week of working until 9:00 p.m. and it’s not a cakewalk. I’ve fell asleep in the school library’s chair twice during the afternoon. This project of trying to earn some extra money to fund my forex account to be able to trade for a living is fifteen weeks. That’s the amount of time the campaign is for this part-time job selling subscription tickets to the season of a theater. … Read entire article »

The Diary 4-11-2010

Yesterday  at my algebra class, I had a discussion with my teacher who works for a hedge fund as her day job. She let me in on a secret, which she says her fund has no trading secrets. A billion-dollar fund trades on simple moving averages, the twenty and forty sma. If a billion dollar hedge fund can have that type of success with trading style that simple, then I’m making things much too complicated. The  other insight she gave me was they were trend followers. When we first had our conversation about trading, she didn’t even know what was happening with Greece. Yesterday, she didn’t know who Peter Schiff was. But, she’s a successful trader. That proved to me that you don’t have to know everything, and everybody to make money … Read entire article »

The Daily Diary 4-9-10

Today I woke up exhausted. It took a lot of metal energy to even make my breakfast this morning. But when I thought of the alternative (McDonalds) I found enough strength to make a peanut butter-banana sandwich. I’m definitely will have to ween myself off of this caffeine. I’ll probably look at some multi-vitamins this afternoon. … Read entire article »

The Diary 4-8-10

I’ve got to take it day-by-day. Last night, I was dead beat tired, caffeinated totally out. My new manager at the second job is too uptight and doesn’t listen to people. I was trying to tell him about a tone on the phone and he said it was a fax machine. As if I never called and heard a fax tone. He talks to you as if you’re don’t know anything. Like a kindergarten child. I have to remind myself after I leave that I’m only their for their money. If not, I could get sidetracked with this idiosyncrasies . 3:20p.m. It is really tough trying to stay up. I’ve had too much caffeine and still can’t keep my eyes open. Whatever happened to my energy? … Read entire article »

The Daily Diary 4-7-2010

How is my life different now? As I was riding the train thinking how long the day is going to be and how much I have to do, it would appear that I’m back at square one, in the rat race again. The difference is my purpose. I’m back in to accumulate resources. The difference is that I’m not focused on consumption but accumulation. It’s quite easy to get lost as you work your way through life, doing the same thing over and over again. … Read entire article »

The Diary 4-6-2010

I have new part-time job that I’ll be starting tonight. Also, I’ve been given some extra hours at work. It’s going to be hard to try and focus on just making money but I have to remember that my own financial scoreboard is what matters. 10:57 a.m.   No more looking on Craigslist, No more sending out resumes. Only time to buckle up and walk through the fire. … Read entire article »
