It was a thought
not mine
buy of an ememy I didn’t know
that found my life unworthy of living
so he pulled the trigger
to end it
to silence me
his own brother
skin as dark as mine
What can cause
such hateful thoughts?
When will we awake?
Rise us to stop the violience
before my next brother dies?
Before fifty years of history
Vanishes right before our eyes?
none
If you could see what I see
You would see that we
Are an endangered species
We can no longer attend parties
And I will no longer have birthdays
Killing ourselves is crazy
My name is Anthony Turner
And I was only seventeen
The violence must end
Do you know what I mean?
none

Halloween in Columbia
Will be remembered
Parties in brick mansions
Will be remembered
But will I be remembered?
My name is Aaron Thomas Brice
I was only nineteen
Shot dead on Halloween
Please remember that

I’m embarking on my new eating habits. Today, I had juice, two slices of bread with peanut butter and 20 oz of coffee with cream. It’s now 12:00 p.m. and I feel fine. However, I must prepare for this week as I noticed when I’m out and have no food available, I fall subject to buying fast food, or worst, non-nutritional value food and paying a premium.

I am at peace now
I am at peace
Peace
Let there be peace
Let there be peace now
Please, let there be peace
We are to young to be dying
none
I am a casualty of war
The war of the streets
The violence that we meet
Every day is killing our future
When will we close ranks
And fight back?
I am yet another casuality
A casuality of war
commited by our peers
How many of us have to die
before we say no more?
none
