All I wanted to do was rap

Entertain you with my words

Because I had something to say

And that brought me joy

But they silenced me

I became a victim

of mistaken identity

Had me fighting for me life

This is our America

Remember my words

You know, I really knew this kid and he would never harm anyone. It’s very sad to know that he is no longer here with us. We really shared great moments in my home with him. We will truly miss him. As far, as the poem, it fits just right. True but very sad. Thanks for posting this.
