We never said hello
your smile spoke
I listened, then it sang
a song to always be remembered

We never said hello
just a glance
followed by a dance
as we flowed into each other arms

We never said hello
as we drove wildly away
carrying with us the moments
to a destination unknown

We never said hello
like the sun so polietly did
through a bedroom window
now silence was the only song playing

We never said hello
as I watched your image fade
there were no laughs, no tears to wipe
giving us reason not to say goodbye
