Today I woke up with a sense of being closer to deciding what I want to do in life. I know that I have fell in love with photography, writing, art, and music. I decided to bring out my sketch pad and start working on my art. I found my subject, Anika Tene on MySpace.

I’m going to attempt to do a sketch everyday of someone to strengthen my drawing skills.

Following the advice from those that are already Successful

Over the last couple of days, I’ve been focused on taking the advice I received from Linda Buquet, owner of 5 Star Affiliate Programs forum. Linda suggested that I start of learning about affiliate marketing by reading the stickies (threads that generate heavy member participation) in her forum, then ask questions. This has turned out to be much valuable advice as I would normally just jump in a forum and start asking questions. The reason why her advice is valuable was because:

  1. It fast tracks me to the answers I would have asked anyway.
  2. By taking her advice, I’m actually molding myself for success by following instructions from those that are already successfully in the endeavor I’m trying to jump into.
  3. If I hadn’t followed her advice and wisdom, she might not be open to offering advice in the future.
  4. It just doesn’t make sense anymore (neither to my bank account) for me to ask for advice and not take it.
  5. It turns out that there is really some excellent information in those stickie threads.

Some advice I found most valuable today came from Shawn Collins. One of the things that he has determined that brings success in affiliate marketing is successful affiliate marketers just jump in there and DO IT. They don’t procrastinate, they don’t make excuses. They just DO IT.
