Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude. Having received one gift from God, they cut the wires which connect them with Him by failing to make acknowledgment.

I can’t seem to remember any book on creating wealth I’ve ever read, or church sermon I’ve ever listened to explain the concept of gratitude to wealth with such simplicity. Of course, the possibility of me not being present during that sermon is highly likely too. In any case, “The Science of Success” is turning out to be a real gem of a reading.

After reading the first two chapters, I immediately had drawn up a closed mind to the possiblility of me gaining any new knowledge. I suspected it was going to be another one of those wealth books that focuses on ideas I’ve already read, just regurgitated. I’m so glad I was able to suspend my structure of belief to be able to move past to the third chapter.
