Over 11,000 runners participated this year in the Bank of America Chicago Distance Classic Marathon. The race began in Grant Park at 6:30 a.m. The City of Chicago closed  half of Lake Shore Drive going south to 57th street and returned back to Grant Park along the lakefront to the finish line.
