I completed reading the chapter “Your Greatest Power Is To Be Willing” in Maria Nemeth’s book “The Energy of Money.”

My answer is “Yes”, I’m willing to take a look at my relationship with money. This is the first principle in twelve that Nemeth has layed out for those looking to heal thier relationship with money.

As I dove futhrer into the chapter, she brought up an interesting point. How we “act” towards money. She illustrated that by posing a question about what would you do for a 100 million dollars. This got me to thinking not only my relationship, but people in general. There was someone I went to high school with that is serving a five-year prison term for robbing a bank. I thought about all those young women who would “whore” themselves for $20.00 -100.00 while I was working in a motel on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California. How about how many relationships that have been torn apart because of money. It’s a pretty powerful thought to ponder.

Honesty or Truth

As I continued to work through to the end of the chapter, Maria wrote about the difference between honesty and truth. I couldn’t help to think about any authentic action I took yesterday to get me closer to financial independence. The truth is there wasn’t any authenic action taken on my part. That caused me to ask myself what was I going to do today? I found a yard sale and bought a Miles Davis book for $2.00. I’m going to try and sell it on Ebay. At another yard sale, I noticed the dvd’s that were for sale were already bought. I think I’m going to focus on buying dvd’s and books to sale on Ebay.

Members of the internet group Anonymous, critics of the Church of Scientology were out in full force on Michigan Ave. yesterday. In the late, cloudy Saturday afternoon, more than a dozen young protesters gathered on the east side of Michigan Ave. and Washington Blvd. to protest and bring awareness about the Church of Scientology. Armed with banners, a megaphone and huge cardboard signs, they shouted their message to tourist and native Chicagoans.
