Why aplogize Jesse Jackson Sr?

So Jesse Jackson Sr. wants to cut Obama’s nuts off for speaking down to the father’s who abandon their children. Why is Jesse apologizing if that is he really feels?

His reaction reminds me of a husband punching his wife, giving her a black eye, then saying to her “Baby, I’m sorry.” There seems to me to be some deep-rooted bitterness inside Jesse. Why would a black civil rights leader want to castrate an African-American man who is making American history. Does Jesse still have some presidential ambitions? Did he find out that he wasn’t on Obama’s short list for vice-presidential candidates? What would he do with a pair of testicles anyway?

This historical presidental campaign has brought out some of the most embarrassing actions that I’ve ever seen among our black leaders. From Jeremiah Wright’s vocal rants, Tavis Smiley’s selfishness and now Jesse Jackson Sr.’s social blunder. I begin to wonder  if we’re witnessing the self-hate among ourselves that Malcolm X talked about.
