It’s been over 10 days now. I’m running two campaigns ads. The totals of my impressions are currently 342. I’ve recieved 1 click per ad so far.
I’m not really sure what to make of the results. I don’t know if 1 click per day is “bad” or “good”. It is going to require me to do more research on other affiliates blogs for information. I might dump the entire campaign or work more on “tweaking” the ads.
Any successful affiliate would like to comment?
I finally finished the chapter on Principle # 3 in “The Energy of Money.” In essences it was about creating goals being built on one’s personal intentions and integrity.
Nemeth suggests in this chapter about creating a “Treasure Map” to help in creating the goals. I’m going to create my treasure map right here online for my readers to give it “power and strength.”
Last year I attended for the first time Venetian Night. This year, the 51st Annual event seemed to have run out of gas. There were considerable less boats in this year’s show. Another validation that were in a recession. I did enjoy the show since it was free.

After coming into work, I checked my SearchMarketing account at Yahoo and found that my ad still hadn’t run, so I called customer service at Yahoo again. I was told that my Sponsored Search Status had to be active. Secondly, I was told that the message in the Alert section that said I wasn’t running any ads, I had to delete. To check to see if my ad was active, I actually had to go to:
Yesterday night, I grabbed my book “Affiliate Millions and took it to the laundry-mat to read. It suggested in the beginning not to advertise in content networks. So I came home and changed the settings in my Yahoo account.
Today I spent looking at more affiliate bloggers site, researching keyword “ClickBank” and trying to find anything else that would assist me in my next step. My ad still hasn’t been approved so I called Yahoo’s customer service. The customer service person that picked up the phone apologized and said that he would expedite it to have my ad running in the morning. Five minutes later, I get a call from the same customer service person to say that my ad was approved. I checked at 11:20 p.m. to see and it’s still pending.
I checked my classified ad on Oodle and the ad has been seen 18 times. I went to check my ClickBank account and I haven’t received any sales yet.
Research. I’ve been researching blog post from the top affiliate marketers on ways to promote ClickBank products. Tony Robbins once said, “Success Leaves Clues.”
Posted a link on ClickBank Success Forum.
I found a local affilliate marketer named Folusho in Chicago from his website. I called and left a voice message in hopes to be able to learn from him about the affiliate marketing business.
Researched articles on ClickBank.
I went to check my ad campaign I created last night and noticed I didn’t have any clicks. I called Yahoo to find out why. I was told that it can take up to 24-48 hours for ads to be reviewed. This is explained in the terms and condition but nowhere in the material, F.A.Q. or help section.
Before going to bed last night, I spent an hour going through all the employment offers. I stopped somewhere around 250 when I found an interesting offer for becoming a virtual assistant. I quickly got a link and place an ad on Oddle under work from home.
I realized that my copy wasn’t that strong but I didn’t use that as an excuse to take “authentic action.” I also realized that I probably need more website to post ads.
I decided to create an account with BackPage to create some classified ads.
I had created a Yahoo Search Marketing account almost a month ago. I came home, opened up the book and created an ad.
After attending Ross Goldberg’s Master’s Seminar and hearing Anik Signal story of success in affiliate marketing, I swore that I would start NOW to try and learn this business. I decided to start promoting Six Figure Yearly affiliate program. This was my second choice as first signed up for The Rich Jerk.
I’m going to record my thoughts as I go along to promote this as I’m plan on writing a step-by-step book when I finish.
Fear
The first emotion that went through my head was fear. I kept procrastinate with getting started and did everything around going to ClickBank to pick out a program.
The second thing I did was sign up for Anthony Blake’s forum that Anik Singal said he learned a lot about affiliate marketing from. It’s funny, I did try finding Anik’s name and was unable to find anything related to him in the forum. I suppose Anik got so popular that Anthony had to delete them all. I’ll give Anik the benefit of the doubt that he’s telling the truth.
I downloaded a PDF file recommended by Anthony Blake called “Clickbank PayDay.” After skimming through the report, I found it not to be useful for my situation. It’s more for publishers who have electronic products to sell.
I came up with another idea. After viewing the report, I decided that I would look for other Clickbank Free Reports on the Internet. I found one, “The ClickBank Case Study.”
I wanted to research some other forums that were associated with learning ClickBank. I signed up for ClickBank Success Forums. I read a few of the posts. The one that interested me was using classified post for promoting ClickBank products.
I signed up for USFreeAds. I started creating an ad and found out I couldn’t post a link or put an email address in without upgrading to the premium services that include being able to submit your url.
After thinking of what to do next I Googled Six Figure Yearly and found some feedback on the WAHM.com forum. It seems from the feedback from others that have purchased the Six Figure Yearly program that is no more than regirgitated information on using ClickBank to sell products to make six-figures. Can’t anyone come up with some orginial products? My conclusion, dump the idea and go back to the drawing board. If the landing page has people questioning it right off the start, who will chance spending $69.00?
