Nude Bikers Protest High Gas Prices in Chicago

The World Naked Bike Ride would begin at 6:00 p.m. Bikers began gathering at Union Park for the night events. I decided to go at the starting point. There wasn’t much activity there. After about 1/2 hour the bikers took off riding to a secret destination.

After seeing the bikers leave, I decided to go to the meeting place posted on the internet. Spectators we instructed to meet at the corner of Belmont and Halsted. I had about four hours to burn, so I entered into one of the local bars to have a beer.

After leaving the bar, I was going to leave but I decided to stay since I was already here. I just didn’t have anything better to shoot other than some strangers on Rush street. I notice a crowd started to gather around 10:00 p.m.

Then at around 10:30 p.m., the bikers appeared in mass numbers. Some with clothing, some without.
