With more resources than I can shake a stick at, I think I’m going to expand my learning to earn a living online to affilliate marketing.
I found a pdf file on the web yesterday that is a 10 day learning course on afflilate marketing. I will be following it closely and writing my results here.
I’m also going to be expanding my blog to document my blog marketing.

1 Hour with Yahoo’s New Email
Finding time to research online opportunities takes time. Two weeks has almost past and I’m still haven’t found a source of earning an online income.
Last night, I spent an hour after getting home from my evening college speech class online trying to get Yahoo’s new email to work properly. The darn thing just froze when I clicked on my email. Then it froze and wouldn’t let me return to the classic email platform.
I did this morning sign up for Smorty. Of course, I have to wait until 72 hours for my blog to approve.

Tonight when I got home, I immediately went to do my research on ways to earn money. I found this nice article on DoshDosh site while at work. I went to sign up for Pay Per Post and after signing up was told that the name and email address was already taken. It seems I forgot that I signed up before. I delete my old blog and registered The Blog Novice.
The problem with I see with some of these sites is that you can’t really make money blogging until you’ve actually blogged for awhile. The site I had before was denied for being too young. So beware, if you’re looking to make money with this list, you’ll have to have a history and verifiable traffic with some of these services.
I signed up for Blogitive but I then had to sign up for PayPal. I then had to create a new Yahoo email account because my old PayPal account assocaited with my old Yahoo email address had been closed. I went back to Blogitive and when I finished, I had to come back to this site to put code in the html. Now that I had a new email account associated for this blog, I thought I would register for Google AdSense. After fininshing, I tried to get the code and I was told I had to wait to get approved.

Friday, when I got home, I found out my DSL and phone were out. Yet another connection problem with ATT. With this problem and wanting to spend a great deal of time on Saturday to work on this blog, I realized that I need really have a back up system in place if I plan to build a career blogging.
I went without communication to the world until Sunday noon. This was an eternity for me. Finding a public phone in my neighborhood is like trying to find uncover a lost treasure.

Last night, I tried to put the Google Analytics code on this website. Because of the delay and me not knowing exactly where the code went, I kept going back, cutting and pasting in different spots. This morning when I woke up, the boxed was checked that it was receiving data. I’m still not sure if the code is there. I’ll have to check tommorrow.
This activtiy alone took about 1/2 hour. I didn’t have much to much time as I had school last night.

While riding the bus on my way home last night, I listened to a podcast interview on Internet Business Mastery with Yanik Silver. Now I have to say, it was an interesting insight as to how successful internet marketers think. I did however think I was listening to Yaro Stark. I don’t know why I put those two together other than their names begining with Y.
I watched an interview with Paul Bourque at UberAffilate. What’s amazing is this bright young man who’s learned how to make money on the internet and is only 19 years old. What disappointed me is to hear him speak of retiring from college. Here I am, trying to learn how to earn a full-time income so I can go back to college at 44 full-time. How ironic this is. When I was his age, I had the same attitude towards college. However, it took me over 2o years to shift my thinking.

Five minutes. That’s all I’m able to find in 24 hours to blog. The days that I’m in school at night, I don’t get home until 9:00 p.m. I can’t blog at work (to risky). What I can do at work is research. I researched a number of programs that bloggers are involved with that they claim has brought them income. I signed up for Cash Crate which I plan on diving into and generating some income.

Today at work, I signed up to be an affliate for my hosting company BlueHost.com. I got the idea from reading someone’s blog. I wish I could remember who it was so I could give them credit.
There are a few bloggers who are bold enough to display thier income. I’m going to create a blog roll of them for inspiration.

Over the weekend, I came to a conclusion that I would put all of my energy into The Blog Novice. I have several blogs that I’ve started. I want to make this one my main focus.
My plans are to become a full-time blogger, full-time student in 10 months from now. Being a full-time blogger will allow me the opportunity to gain my freedom and independence back. As well as go back to school full time at the age of 44.
